Joe was born on July 23rd, 1922 in Fairview, N.S. He enlisted with the
RCASC in the 84th COY 2nd Armoured Brigade In January 1943. His
tour of duty included Canada, England, France, Belgium, Holland and
Germany. He was demobilized in March 1946. Joe and his wife Ola, have
been married over 60 years and had 4 children. They now reside in
Ardoise, Hants County, Nova Scotia. Joe has been a member of The
Royal Canadian Legion for over 42 years. Hants County Branch 09
welcomes Joe as our Veteran of the Month for September 2010.
